LOng time prospects of the job
after i finish my o levels in secondary 4 i will proceed on to junior college education and after that i will go to the national technical education(nie) or go to the university.after that i can become a relief teacher then after that i can become a permanent teacher. in one of the schools.
Last Friday,2nd of march 2007, we went to suntec city exhibition hall for a career exhibition. There were many booths set up there ranging of all the careers.
since, this year the teachers are concentrating on our future careers and ambitions,we went there to ask questions about our career so that we will have a rough idea on the long-term
prospects of the job.i have learnt quite a number of things i have asked questions and collected broaches and pamphlets and gained some knowledge about the prospect of each of me ambitions.

ViDeO CoMmEnTaRy
I watched a video played by my english teacher during one of my english lessons. The title of the video was 'Heartware'. It was about our future career. The video had shown me that many Singaporeans want to go overseas to work or find our job. This is mainly because they wanted a different kind of environment to study or work. From my point of view, I feel that it is alright for us to work or study in Singapore but they should have the sense of belonging that they are Singaporeans and they should never forget all the values and their home. It is also essential for them to learn whatever they have learnt in other countries and they should come back here and serve the nation.

Why i would like to become a teacher..
Since young i had always wanted to become a teacher. I have the passion to teach and whenever my cousin had a doubt in his work, i will help him out. I also know that I have the patience to teach without nagging and losing my temper. I feelo that becoming a teacher is good as will get to learn while teaching my students and i can refresh my mind on what i am learning now.So there is a two way learning processs here. After my o levels, which I will be doing in secondary 4, I plan to go to a junior college and finish my a levels. Then I would want to further my studies at the National University of Singapore(NUS) and further on at Nie. Then I would be posted to a school for around one term to try out teaching. And after that I will be on my way to become a qualified teacher.
